I loved Daggerfall, but even with the final patch (20 MB or so?) I couldn't finish it because one of the scripted events never happened to me...

But for those who want to play though both there is a remake using a 3D engine for both games in development as well.

DOS Games

I'm not a DOS boot expert at the moment but I'm thinking you might be able to build DOS boot disk and play old games in DOS. Or maybe boot DOS off a CD? I'm sure there is a way to do it and with a little research..

Load your mouse and sound drivers into your autoexec.bat. DOS does not come with genetic mouse/sound drivers.

System Shock 2 is a great FPS/RPG...if that interests you.

Daggerfall/Morrowind

I agree, I thought Daggerfall was great if you installed the patch. I completed it and then started over and just ran around hacking and slashing and completeing the minor quests. I also wish Morrowind was more like Daggerfall in some respects, the control of creating a character was easier in DaggerFall, and adding to skills when you raise levels was a lot easier in Daggerfall. And I love being able to buy/steal a horse and cart or buy a ship and/or a house to store stuff in Daggerfall. I had my ship loaded to the top with stuff I had stolen or gotten in combat. And also I loved the Banks in Daggerfall. Morrow wind is good, I like the graphics and the combat seems pretty good, unfortunately it is one of the typical "Save the World" games but if you only go around doing the minor quests and some of the major ones it is a pretty good game. I will never "finish" it by following all the major quests ( I accidently killed one of the key NPC's and sold some Key items) but it is fun to run aound and explore dungeons and stuff.
