Stupid question! How the heck you pickup items?

lol. I have the demo and got it working after formating and installing my old Win98. Now I cant seem to pickup anything. In the begining there is a torch. I tried every key but couldnt pick up anything!!! How does one do it.


BTW this game rocks. Its a good game till morrowind. I just wish the bugs were less of an issue. Win8=98 seems stable for now. I just hope I dont run into anymore bugs.

Left mouse/ctrl and up.
It's in the readme.txt that came with the demo,it includes the basic commands of the game.

Thanks rain but I swear I just ream the HTML readme and it had no basic controls in it. There must be a text one. Doh./

Yep,I had the same problem myself...I also think I read the html without really getting any info,then I found a .txt which did.
