Game Crash, any fixes?

I love this game and am on the verge of being divorced by my wife for spending way too much time playing. However, the game crashes with amazing regularity. Is there a patch or a fix? It sure would make gameplay alot more enjoyable. Thanks.

From what it sounds like you are spending several hours playing. Some people have speculated that the game caches what is done in the game. So it might be best to play for a few hours and then save and quit the game in order to clear the cache. Then you can restart the game and it should be fine. Some people even think that the game crashing is caused by the video card overheating so you may want to look into the heat level of your computer and adding extra cooling.

I have to assume they are working on a patch fix. The game crashed with my 600 mgz system so I upgraded my MB to a 2 gig system. The game still crashes with regularity. If the crashes are hardware related it is due to the game programing.

My only advice is save often and wait for a patch.

Bethesda tradition is buggy games. Compared to Daggerfall they made a big improvement as far as bugs go.
