Ok everyone I need a little help please. I've already beaten gothic once and have gotten to the sleepers temple two other times. Both these times however I've been having a problem. Shooting the two panels with my bow seems to have no effect, and so I can't progress. I didn't have any such problems my first time through. Am I missing something or is there a problem with my game?

Which panels? The ones that open the gate that is guarded by the Templar and Minecrawlers? Did you try the switches yet? |

Yeah the ones that would open that gate. Do you mean the switches that are also in that same area? I can't get to those, it's locked. Did I miss something earlier on?

Oh yeah, you know the room with the blood and the spikes that pop out, you need to shoot the panel in there first. Then a wall will move and you shoot the panel it reveals. Then you have access to the room with the switches. Have you gotten that far? |

when i played through this a few times i noticed that sometimes the arrows would "bounce" off of the panel and not hit it..shooting more arrows or reloading gothic usually worked.. |

Is this a room with three switches? Every time you turn a switch a demon gets summoned?
If so, you have to activate the switches in a particular order. Look at the skull pictures above each switch ... they have different coloring. activate in this order:

Then you might want to consider the marvin mode cheat or a reload.  |
