Maybe someone already talked about it ... but u know I'm too lazy to read all the faorum .... so hear this.
What would come out if u could make an MMORPG with Gothic system ??? I mean the same kind of engine and gamesystem ...
I hope everybody know what an MMORPG is ... anyway what do u thk about it ?
PS : another question ... is there hope to see one day G3 coming out ???

Welcome to the forum! 
You shouldn´t expect too many enthusiastic reactions, this has indeed been discussed before.
The G2 add-on is finished. It makes the game even better.
G3 is in development. PB use a new engine, so don´t expect it within the next year.

A MMORPG wich have the same admosphere like Gothic would be great, but a Gothic MMORPG is not a good idea.
Like someone said in a previous topic about this subject:
'Great 1000 me's running around'.
I agree with this and vote agaist making Gothic a MMORPG.  |

No , cause then it would look like NWN , single player isnt good and multi is just adequate !!!
Gothic did a great job by making G a very, very good single RPG.
They wouldn't have been able to do taht if they would also have concentrated on multi , except if they would have taken 5 more years to develop and then it would cost too much for them and for the long wait ppl would already have bought another game !!!
And me too i'm lazy to do this but if u use the search button u'll find like 30 posts about this !!! |

Ive been very disapointed by all the recant MMORPGs...they can really damage a name, and id hate to see Gothics name tinted by a bad, buggy MMORPG full of flamers and unconsidered features...
It would have to be done wel...damn well...and stick to continiuety

i think the best MMORPG is world of warcraft! and i think it will be the best for a while...
i voted 'i don't know'.
i don't think it's a great idea, maybe it is a good idea when you will be able to make you own chracter. but i don't think it will be a great succes.

I agree with Neo_Genesis. World of Warcraft (and possibly Middle-Earth Online) will pwn the genre.

You see, EDV and Pladio have explained perfectly why lots of us against a MMORPG Gothic.
I hope you understand us. And I understand you, because I also think if we could fight some human controled NPCs it would be a great fine. But it is best to be a just on-line Gothic not a MMORPG one. Yes, 8 or 16 of persons is ENOUGH for perfect on-line game, and is for Gothic.

And no the G2 addon int out yet in english !!!
