Should comics remain as comics??? |
|
I would just like to know what others think of the recent spat of comic to movie conversions that is occuring.
Most don't follow story lines, although I know a script is more limited in comparison to a comic book.
I know Hollywood is all about the cash cow...but I find them to be demeaning something I grew up with.
For example: I am torn in regards to the possible movie of The life and death of superman...the comic and even the novel were very good, can the movie do it justice??
Your thoughts? |

No movie can do true justice to a well written comic. Still, comics can be made into good movies. _________________ Always with you what can not be done. Hear you nothing that I say? - Master Yoda

I concur. There's no way everything in a comic character's history can be translated to the silver screen. They have to be distilled down to their essence and even then it doesn't always translate well. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!
