So I went into a cave about 100 yards directly northeast of Caldera and there are some really short, white skinned, big-eared goblin type enemies there. My iron wazshaki and chitin short bow have no effect. No effect? I'd understand if they had LITTLE effect, but NONE? What gives, do I need a magic weapon or something? Thanks |

Some creatures are like vampires, only silver can hurt them. Silver, glass and other metals not-from-this-world can hurt everyone...
Rule of thumb:
If the monster would not seem to come from this world, use other metals than iron... |

Thanks I'll try it out. I saw a glass short sword or something, but I'll have to try and steal it. It was very expensive and very well guarded. |

these monsters ususally react badly to magic, ie they die... |

The monsters in question are Scamps... they are daedric in nature, so they aren't 'normal' critters which can be killed with 'normal' weapons.
