BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH. reproducable.
i start the game. i awaken in the ship. i follow the guard. i go to the hatch. i open it. as soon as it starts to load "Seeya Nada", BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH.
problem file is "nv4_display.dll", error is:
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
???
i i have tried every option i can think. uninstalled drivers, reinstalled, reinstalled DX81, different resolutions, Pixel Shader On/Off, etc.... all no avail.
i wanted so many years for this game, upgraded all my hardware...now this! please help.
W2K Server, SP2
DX8.1
Abit KG7-RAID
AMD 1.33
1gb hi-end pc2100
SB Live x-gamer
latest drivers for all hardware.

It's funny how many system specific bugs seem to be popping up, mostly on people's systems that don't have GeForce 4's.... I'm guessing it's some sort of marketing conspiracy

except, this is a geforce system. "nv4_disp.dll" is an nvidia driver. its for my PNY Geforce4 ti4400. |

if it is reproducable enough it may be addressed in an upcoming patch... i hope you guys can play sometime, i hate when ppl cant play. mainly because everyone is cool except for evil ppl. anyway, good luck to you! |
