and fell off the bridge near New Camp after I crossed it. I went and robbed his broken corpse.

Does his absence it make any difference in the game?

I actually liked Mud following me the first time around. I knew if I ever got into trouble, he'd distract the monsters while I fled.

We should resurect that old thread, remember, "Interesting things to do with Mud" or something like that? It had all those different ways that people killed him.
