The Fall: International Release Comments @ Official Forums |
|
Silver Style's Carsten Strehse has posted in a release-date thread on The Fall forums, offering just the slimmest hint of information for English fans:
That's right. Russian release is next week, Polish in November. Czech and Hungary will follow next year. Just like the US, UK and Australian version.
|

hm, thats kinda strange, since version with czech subtitles should be out next week, at least due to our inet gameshops, and it seems rather strange to me that they would do subtitled version and then some translated version again

I'm tired of being excited about this game, i probably won't buy it when it comes out.
Over a year we've waited. |

At least they´ve worked on the game. Other titles were just collecting dust in an office.
The latest patch added lip-synchronous voices for all dialogs for example. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Hahaha! The hungarian distributor promised this game for fing AUGUST! And now this article says NEXT YEAR. No, I don't think I will touch this game, nothwithstanding that I've been waiting for a good fallout style game since ever. I'm so bloody fed up! And I do not even bloody want hungarian subtitles, I'd prefer english, these games sound bloody stupid in hungarian. Very disappointing. |

It´s not Fallout style. NWN meets Gothic in a PA world should be closer to the truth. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Probably you are right. I rephrase what I've said. I've been waiting for a Post -Apocaliptic game since ever. Though NWN was a bit linear (but enjoyable, not like Dungeon Siege during which I dozed off a few times). And Gothic is not team-based. So Fall reminds me much more of Fallout than Gothic & NWN not even considering the PA scene. Yeah, well not turn based which I loved in Fallout, and I'm pretty sure they cannot even come close to that dark humor and unbelievably enjoyable atmosphere which Fallout had. Still. But that's just me I guess. Sorry. [/b] |
