How can I see my FPS in game? (And more)

Sorry, I"m a complete newbie here My game is chugging along rather poorly on my 1 gig p3, 384 133mhz ram, TNT2. Does anyone have anyone advice for speeding up my game? I defragged before playing too. Any Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Fizban

You #1 prob is the vid card. Tweak it as much as possible and be sure you have the latest drivers. Also look into getting the cracked morrowind exe that will bypass the safdisc crap that kills performance. Then be sure to stop all programs that may be running in Windows background before you start. Also try to lower your screen resolution, view distance, turn off shadows and lower the AI setting in the game options.

Last of all, a lot of tweaks (including enable showing fps) can be done in the morrowind.ini. Open up that ini file to view its contents (maybe save a backup before adjusting) and read all of the other previous post concerning this issue if you need more info.

lol Danicek, maybe you were tired.
That command will allow the player to take screenshots.

Wasn't it?
