I've killed three Shaman (Varrag Hashob, Varrag-Unhilt, and Varrag-Kasorg) I just emerged from the tunnel, killed some crawlers, and a guard, then I went into a Blood Red room, hit the switch, a wall rolled-up on the other side of the switch, revealing a scroll and some potions. Now what? In this same area are some cave openings with jail-type gates in the down position. (When I fought the second Shaman, I got the sword, but didn't find any place to put it in the floor; but everything appears to be ok so far) I am still in the Red Room, so what do I do. I looked at the FAQ, but they are kind of vague on what I'm supposed to do.
It's 09:39 am Sunday morning and I'm going to sit here and hold my breath until somebody answers this post.....hurry

Shout in the big square above you(it is a swich).You have 3 seconds until the spike will poop up.Another wall will go dow ,another swich to shoot (with you Xbow).Next is another camber with 3swiches.Must be actioned in a certain order.
I have some problems too and first time I use transform in to meatbug.There are some bare dors you can pass under.Other you can't but if you try hard and push enter when you are half way in ,sometimes it will transform you behind the door. |

When you look with care on this wall that apears behind the wall that rolled up...there is another swith in deep narrow hole (use light scroll/rune or torch and you will see).
If you hit this one, second room with 3 switches will open.
You must use them in right order, if you use them in wrong order then lesser demon will apeare (it is good opportunity to gain some more levels because one lesser demon is for 600 exp. points and it is not hard to kill it...).

Thanks for the help. That 3 seconds you mentioned was more like 1.5 seconds. I shot the arrow and ran like Hell, barely making it to a safe place.
