Xardas should have one.

Or you can blast it with fully powered Storm of Fire spells.

You could also try to fight the troll if your strength and level is good and you have a descent weapon. Though if you are not a fighter avoid that and follow sauron's suggestion.

100+ strength and a big two hander is all you need.

A good idea is to summon some skeletons and/or a golem when fighting the troll. After he engages them, he COMPLETELY ignores your attacks (at least that was what happened to me every time I fought trolls). After that, it's an easy 1000 exp.

(BTW. For even more easy XP, use all Summon Golem scrolls that you have, then kill the resulting golems, who won't fight back (1000 exp each). The golems are rather worthless as summoned creatures because they tend to get stuck a lot and are slow; stick to Demons and Skeletons for your summoning needs).

I think that golems are great! Especially when taking down the troll. The golem is basically invincible, and pins the troll up against the mountain. Then you can finish the troll off anyway you wish.

I guess I was disappointed with golems after their substandard behavior in the Orc Temple.

I have to say, that the goloms didn't help very much, if you had to go anywhere but in a strait line. I summonsed up a whole army of darkness and some goloms for the "final battle" but what I didn't know, was that goloms can't jump! The skeletons followed me fine, but the goloms just stood there. I guess they’re only good in certain instances.
