Wow, the interface is really a pain in the a**.
There are really some shortcuts missing (for example, clicking on the face while inventory open, doesnt switch the inventory to this person), strange.

The movement gives me an awkward feeling, because the two always move exactly the same and the fights... VERY strange feeling about that, without the pauseoption it would be unusable..
Not to speak of the camera which sometimes seems to have a mind of its own.

Really strange design decisions in my eyes or simply bad interface design.

Why did they changed so much from DivDiv?
I am a bit disappointed.

Yeah the interface is extremely clunky. I didn't really love the voice acting either. The death knight just sounds so incredibly bland. Seems like they just had so much potential to make a cool character out of him.

You should look at the voice acting as being bad on purpose. I look at it like the old Batman series, so corny that the show is great. I only played the Divine divinity demo but I got the same dry sacrastic humor feel as I did playing this demo.

Does the demo end at the door where Darkknight says "great you wasted too much time human. I plan to fight." something or other? Because there are still a bunch of locked doors I couldn't get through. If I picked a thief could I have picked the locks?

The demo ends when you try to go into the "arena pit".I found most keys on corpses but one key was hidden under a barrel, beside a cupboard that glows abit when you highlight with the mouse. The demo was too short and I agree that the fights are abit troublesome without the pause option(clunky interface).Over all,I will probably enjoy this game as I am a sucker for these kind of stories and I am a fan of the predecessor.

No I really don't think the voice acting was bad on purpose. It wasn't bad/funny, it was just bad/bland. . Something cheesey and over the top like batman would have been great, but instead he just sounds like some guy reciting lines without really knowing what the context is or paying attention to what he's saying.

The dialogue itself was pretty good, and did have that sarcastic feel to it. But the actual voice.......

I noticed at the end they quote rpg.dot as saying " this game will go beyond divnity"....

But.... where are they quoting? Is there a review of the divinity demo thats already been written here that isnt out yet? I dont see that statement anywhere on this site...

Also, I really dug the game. I also thought the voice acting was bad.

The voice acting in the first game was all cockney and strange but I liked it. But the majority of characters did not talk. There was an evil prince or something that was really repulsive that I liked.
I wonder how many voices were recorded for the new game... I bet once you get rolling in the real game there is much less voice acting overall than the demo, just the main characters.
