One of our 3D artists (Markus Kark) gave me a CD from In Extremo and said, that they would perfectly fit to our game...that was the beginning. I listened to it, loved the music, contacted the manager of the band and met them during a concert near our location. We were sitting backstage, drinking some whisky and lots of beer, talking and fooling around and the idea for an In Extremo performance within the game was born...it was a perfect match...when I saw these guys on stage it was like they were GOTHIC characters coming to RL!!!
For all who are interested:
Take a look at

I didn't like their last record, however. Too much of a not-too-good Rammstein rip off.

OMG! I just saw the 'band' section of the web site and found all familiar faces, starting with Mud. Bartolo is there and Gomez and Y'Berion! |

I hope that isn't a stoning offense, please forgive me!

They are a German medieval/rock band, and they played the concert in Gothic (german version).

Boy, don't I wish I had checked the acronym on that before I'd hit submit!

Oh! That bites! You can only see the concert in the German version?
I'm telling you, we need a huge pout smiley.

You can watch it in the English version, it just takes a lot of work.
Here ya go:
EDIT: Yes you should have checked that before you typed it.

I thought you'd like that. Why are you posting as Anonymous?
