teleport the "big chung of mitrhril"
   

Do I have to use the teleporter to transport the "big chung of mithril"? I would like to save as many stone of power as possible.

Yes, you do. Don't worry about saving up powerstones -- you'll get exactly as many as you need, and they aren't required for anything else.
