| Parenoid people worried about google |
|
i read that some perenoid people are getting worried that the google search engine is trying to commit fraud by giving things out to companies that spam people increasing the spam in peoples inboxes. if you ask me i think that they are just perenoid and that are worried over nothing. What do you think.

Google doesn't give people spam. People get spam from giving their e-mail addresses out all over the internet.

that's what i meant to say, they think that google is gunna give the spammers there own little thing (but i don't know what) on google, but i think it's just made up.

You're talking about GMail, right?
I think this is all rather overblown. Google aren't selling information to spammers, they aren't giving away your personal details, they aren't reading your email. What they're going to do is exactly what they do with advertising based on your search results, which comprises a number of small text-only adverts matched against keywords found in the body of the mail.
If you don't approve, don't get a Google mail account. But bear in mind that this is going to be no more invasive than what people are already happily putting up with!
