Weapon Choices

I like to know if there are any good weapons in the game besides the Bloodlust sword and the CoC. I was hoping to give my other characters Axes and Maces to fight with but I havent found or Pickpocketed any good items. I found a good polearm but it was cursed and I am losing a hit point per second.

any suggestions.

Thanks

Should be able to PP Dread Spear if you got Ravensbill or Faust. Counteract the HP drain with Amulet of Healing. (also PP, i think everyone in Arnika has one, not for sale. Crock sells them)
There are other weapons you can get at various places, the other killer you can get early if you're stealthy is the Staff of Doom.
There's a fairly good axe, too, you can get if you detour N on your way to Arnika.

I guess it all depends on what type of skills your party has, but there's a pretty good weapon (usually several) for every weapon type. Fang is a great sword. Diamond Eyes is a good mace. I think the previous post actually described the Death Spear. The Dread Spear is a better one since it's not cursed. The Ivory Blade is pretty good. There's a lot of high powered stuff that randomly shows up in the underwater sections of the game some times.

Some of the best items are ones that are forged by the two blacksmiths in the game. Be sure to ask them about such weapons.

My best weapon was the *light sword* for my Samurai. It was in a chest in Bayjin.

problem: the contents of many chests is a random selection.
