Ok... I'll make an adjustment and give you the benefit of the doubt, since I haven't played Gothic in a while, and assume that you must use Urizeal to kill the immortal templars too. The sword still only works that way inside the Sleepers temple on specific creatures... it's ineffective as a broad range weapon.
I don't actually think that you need to use Urizeal against the immortal templars though... I've played all the way through Gothic four times now and I only remember using that weapon against them one time. I never did it again because it was too hard, I've never managed to get good at sword fighting. I'm not sure that once you reset the templers immortality flags by having Urizeal indentified you can't just fight them normally (I love the Death bow).
At any rate, Urizeal is only immune (if that's the case) to the armor of specific monsters during the end game in the sleepers temple... against all the others it bears the same limitations without the advantages of all the other weapons.
@Lizzy--I loved Redwing, it's a very beautiful sword, only don't walk too close to Cor Angar while you're carrying it or he'll hack you to bits! That's what he did to me after I inserted Redwing! |

I've completed the game about 8 times or so with fighters(the rest with mages), and you can only kill the 5th shaman, the templars, Demon Lords, Cor Kalom AND his novices with Uriziel(or death spells.. actually, Cor Kalom can be killed with normal spells as well).. so there must be something about magic resistance..
BTW. What is the Redwing sword?? Some cheat-only sword, or can it be found(I honestly thought I had explored everything I could explore.. ). |

I love that sword. I kick his butt for it as soon as possible (if we're thinking of the same guy... the guy who trains the templars... it's been a while since I played (reinstalling soon!)) _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

Isn't he invincible through the entire game?
BTW. The design of his sword is a "Hero's Blade", but does it have a different damage? Something like Thorus' Sword? |

He could be invincible... I tend to turn invincibility flags off on the NPCs, though, after the first time through. If I screw up the storyline by killing someone I shouldn't I have nobody to blame but myself. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

Wooah.. certainly not the stats of the Hero's Blade! Should've known he wasn't wielding a "bad" blade such as that(with 70 damage or so)..
What about Lee? I never remember the name of the design of the axe he's using, but I know that it isn't as good as the Warriors' Voice which Okyl and Orik are using, so is there something special about Lee's weapon as well? |

Lee's Axe is the best axe in the game. It does 105 damage. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

So it's:
Lee - 105 - ?
Cor Angar - 105 - Red Wind
Gomez - 110 - Innos' Rage
On the 3 leaders.. only one I knew about was Gomez' sword.. |

You could have looked this up in the cheat guide. All three weapons are listed there. Lee´s Axe even twice. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Haven't read the cheat guide; I don't cheat.. well OK, I hex-edited in the Gothic II demo to get goblinberries and a great armor, but that was just because there was no other way to explore everything..
Also, I can't see the point of inserting Red Wind because of the looks - why not buy a Hero's Blade? They are of the exact same design(or was it a Kings' Blade.. I think it's the Hero's Blade.. ).. |
