Just an FYI, My system is a mediocre 2 year old Gateway P3 850, 384 ram, g-force3. I was getting between 18 and 26 fps @ 1024 with all options off. I repalced the game exe. with the one I downloaded from Jamison's post (Also saved in a folder for patching)and changed no settings, and frame rate jumped to a lusty 30 to 55 fps. This new exe. removes the copy protection which I guess hogs system resources. If that's true, then FOR SHAME Bethesda for doing that to your faithfull buyers. If your going to encrypt your disc's with that crap, then at least make sure it works right. Thanks Jamison, now its playable. _________________ "A fair fight? a fair fight is when we live and they die, that's a fair fight. |

Agreed. And although it didn't seem to improve my framerate, I have noticed that I haven't had one crash to desktop since installing the new exe. Well done. |

Glad it helped. Just keep your old executable. You may need to put everything back in it's original installed form before applying any official patches from Bethesda.
But I will create a new exe after each official patch, if necessary. |
