Gothic has an amazing rendering engine.
It looks like it uses the same technology as the Kyro video cards.
These tecniques of rendering are still really buggy, but they make great graphics run as smooth as DOS games. |

FF, you checked out Phenomedia´s new Codecult engine? I´m not sure you can combine the massive AI you need for a RPG with such graphics, but it´s still nice to dream of a Gothic 2 with this engine.
Gothic looks like a POS compared to this.

just delete the bikini texture (or remove the VDF part in the name)

Ok to add that texture back into the game.. can someone give a newb to this whole graphics stuff a bit of help>?
what file is it in?
how can I replace it?
do I need some 3rd party viewer to access the data?
any help would be appreciated

Search after a file named something with "bikini" and remove the final three letters in the file name (.VDF).
If you cannot see the final letters ".vdf" then you have probably forgot to edit your options so you can see "file extension", then you are not adviced to do it since you would be to unskilled to not screwing something up.
(Got to be honest)
