Just when I thought Mud couldn't be any worse, he absolutely pissed me off just now. I had him with me and wanted to save my game so I could try different ways of ending his miserable life, so right at the moment when I go to save he starts talking to me. I think everything is okay until I try to reload my game. For some reason there is a bug in Gothic which causes it to crash if you try to load a game in which you saved when someone is talking to you.

I had to start from scratch all over again.

This should be addressed in the next patch..
you should make multiple saves,
i myself, made a 'MAIN' save, a 'QUIKSAVE' and a 'TEST' save, the purpose for them is pretty easy to guess.
