why cant i take screenshots? i tried the console command print, i tried the print screen button. how do you take a screenshot and where does it go?

With prt scr, it goes to your clipboard. You can insert it into another program like Photoshop from there. But you can take only one pic this way. If you use the UO Pics utility, you can make lots of pics... Gorath described where to find it once. You might use the search function to locate the corresponding thread.

HyperSnap DX is very good and you can download it for free (with litle limitations).
Or simply use prinscreen and another programs such as Paintshop (you can also download it for free) and insert it.
I recommend Paintshop because it has nice tools for inserting from clipboard (such as insert as new image/new layer/in existing layer etc.)

The printscreen button is next to useless with Gothic. In order to get out of Gothic with Alt-Tab, you must enter marvin mode and press F3, then you can Alt-Tab. Tedious, but if you do not do this, Gothic will crash and the error report will be saved over your screenshot.
