"The parent company of Piranha Bytes (the makers of Gothic),
Phenomedia, filed bankrupcy under german law yesterday. I wonder what
will happen to Gothic2 which currently was in the works..."

When It does come out is there a way to order it to get it delivered to Australia. I got Gothic 1 when I was overseas. I haven't seen it avaliable in Australia yet. _________________ =Moderator of The RPGDot Shadows=

I'm expecting Gothic2 to be a lot more visible than Gothic was since JoWood's bigger than XiCat.
If they don't ship it to Australia, order from some of those worldwide shipping stores...
www.gameplay.com ships to Australia,P&P £8.
www.softwarefirst.com ships worldwide,P&P depending on which form, starting at £4.50 per item.
I've ordered once from each of them and they were pretty fast on delivery(at least to Sweden at that time) |

Just cross your fingers and hope it doesn't become another Blade of Darkness 2! _________________ ''Perhaps I'm old and tired but I always think that the chances of finding out what really is going on are so absurdly remote that the only thing to do is to say hang the sense of it and just keep yourself occupied. Good news people!
Gothic 2 will be out for sure!
Despite the Phenomedia troubles (we reported about those) Gothic 2 will be published in late 2002. According to GameStar, the Gothic 2 developers Piranha Bytes continue their work as planned. A third of publisher JoWooD's E3 stand will be devoted to the sequel of 2001 hit RPG Gothic. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!
