Morrowind: Heart of Darkness total conversion revealed |
|
Ex Machina Games let us know about their Morrowind total conversion, Heart of Darkness:
After a long time of dwelling in the shadows, a new Morrowind total conversion comes to light: "Heart Of Darkness", developed by the dynamic duo of Ex Machina Games, takes you into an all new part of the Elder Scrolls roleplaying world, the island realm of Talosia. With its immersive gaming world which has been carefully designed to be more lively and way less generic than "Morrowind", interesting characters, its epic story, tons of new and redesigned features, a revamped roleplaying system fitting its more story-based concept, and proudly presenting some of the best freely distributable plugins and artworks from the "Morrowind" modding community,"Heart Of Darkness" is an ambitious attempt to combine elements of "Morrowind" and "Gothic" to create a unique gaming experience.
|

The best of Morrowind and Gothic all rolled into one incredibly detailed game??
I just about exhausted the Heart of Darkness website and all I can say is that this should be incredible. Only problem is my current machine probably can't run it, and they didn't provide any info on even an estimated release date. 1 month?? 1 year?? 100?? Maybe it's in the forums, I didn't check there. Still, - how excited am I?? - _________________ "D'oh! I knew I should've saved sooner!" |

I wouldn't look forward to it that much.
Those ambitious projects have a tendency of never getting finished. |

Thanks for the encouragement Lol... But I'd rather feel like a 'lucky' punk and actually see this game released! _________________ "D'oh! I knew I should've saved sooner!" |

never heard of htoes. Were those fan made?
I might add all sorts of mods are made/remade with NWN and admittedly most of them are junk.
many of the AD&D modules were made including ToEE, Pool of Radiance, White Plume Mountain, etc. etc.
NWConnections routinely runs Quest for Avatarship or soemthing and I personally have a garbage, unfinished remake of Wizardry, Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord complete with oversized areas, drop on you encounters, and lack of any scripting.
Recently uploaded was a couple of large fan made versions of Baldur's Gate and Mordenkainen's Fantastic Adventure.
Oh, oh, someone also made Heart of Winter, the IWD expansion that was so horribly short and was the first nail in Black Isle's/Interplay's coffin. |
