Gothic 2 Review @ Evil Avatar

Evil Avatar have reviewed Gothic 2. It seems the reviewer thoroughly enjoyed G2, warming to the interface after a while and noting that rather than finishing the review he decided to replay the game. The score is 4.5/5 stars and here's a snip:
I really have enjoyed the continuation of the story and the world that was Gothic. Like in Gothic, the game is broken into six chapters – and you do not enter a new chapter as a culmination of a quest. If you have saved your game and don’t want to go to the next chapter you have an option, instead of not knowing if you are progressing in the right direction. The quest to return to the prison colony and get information is before chapter 2 in Gothic 2. Like Gothic, there are several options to solve quests. Not all the time as it seemed in Gothic though. One example is how to get into the city at the start of the game – there are several ways of doing it. Another thing that is nice, there are usually quite a few options to solve or complete quests or encounters.

I was fortunate to pick this up last week in Toronto at a little independent game store at the Atrium on Bay name of GameShack. These guys had the forsight to import a bunch of copies of the international English version and I'm glad they did.
Man, I'm loving this game.

They ordered it from overseas. You can do that. Check the Gothic 2 website.
