As my budies in Calgary say, I'm HOSED!

Here is what I have done in sequence. Latest patch is applied, no cheats used.

I bought the Dragon's egg first and then went to the Dwarf city. Jumped the lava pit on the platforms, got the key, dwarf meat and stone, powered the crusher but it will not work unless the lever in the office is operated first, which i did. I operated the crusher once only and then jumped the small lava pit in the crusher room , dog followed, roasted, I think, though i did not see it. No more dogs appear. Got the Mithril to the crusher but cannot make the ^%^$#@!)( thing work again, nor will it accept another stone, so end of the game right here.

Others have completed this level, HOW?

I discovered my problem, Im a MORON, but besides that, the lever on the floor of the crusher room operates the grate in the floor and the crusher once, thereafter only the grate, there is a lever on the CATWALK which i just found, that crushes the mithril, problem solved, well, the problem with the game anyway, the other is more lasting i suppose
