It seems to me that the more your skill percentage is with XBow, the faster you can shoot... a good reason to improve that % fast, or at least bring it up to the 2 "milestones"... 30 and 60% |

u can jump and u can climb up if u are in the right position and click jump then he will grab the tree and get up on a stick  |

Di'nt know that eather.. tho I dit kind a the same thing..
Just on the ram up to castle.. you can actualy stand just out of they reach.. and fire away ... dit 1/5 of my lvls there lol |

Are you sure there isn't a bow that does the same amount of damage as the best crossbow?? It seems like there should be a bow that does equal damage as the best crossbow... Can you train both bow and crossbow to 100% regardless of your allegiance? ...a mage for example?

Are you sure about the tree climbing. I remember doing that with G2 but have yet been able to tree climb in G2…makes me very angry...

having played the game through twice now, i'm 99% sure that there is no bow which does as much damage as the best crossbow. everyone knows what the best crossbow is, Dragon Hunter's, and the best Bow is much worse than it.
also i dont think the classes have skill limits, but once you become a mage it because 2x harder to obtain martial skills. Meaning bow/X-bow requires 10 LP to get +5% ... or 20 LP for +5% if you're in the "in between point" i.e. Bow at 30%, XBow at 10%. |

Well…while we’re on the bow topic I have definitely come to the conclusion the Dex is the magic attrib. I am 200 and get one shot kills very time at a distance. But the closer they get the harder it is to take them out with one hit.

I am still in chapter 1 and I have an X-Bow that does 55 Damage. I cant seem to find any bow that does anywhere near that.

I am not saying it doesnt exist. I am just saying that I have been pretty much everywhere I can go in Chapter 1 and I have not found a bow stronger than this X-Bow I have.

I cant really say where it is since this is the General thread and not the Spoiler thread.
I dont know the exact name of it, just that it does 55 damage. and I THINK it needed 40Dex. I'll have to check when I get home (I'm at work at the moment).
I am almost 100% certain that there arent any other bows better than this in chapter one now, unless some extra area is going to be opened up before the 2nd chapter starts. I have almost killed everything in Khorinis, excluding most of the undead stuff, Trolls and Minecrawler warriors. The best normal bow that I have is a composite bow that does 45 damage.
