I hope the game sold fairly well worldwide,if it did I'm quite sure Gothic2 will be multilingual.
I mean they were an unknown company who produced their first game,it's pretty natural that the publishers would take things slowly...
My main worry would be the censorship that might be needed in the US version... |

The should just make the game in English only.
That should speed up the making proces.

What are we going to do anyway? Threaten a boycott of Gothic 2? Most of the guys on this forum, myself included, would wait ten years for Gothic 2 no matter HOW long it took to release an English version.
I wish PB would go ahead and accept a mature rating. But if there IS censorship, I hope they leave a few loose threads to "un-censor" the game like in Gothic 1.

Hehe, if I had the game in my hands five minutes from now, I would still say "What took it so long?"

A lot of us wouldn't even wait for an english version if it came out in another language first. We'd try to buy over-seas useing the internet, and just wonder what the hell the character's are saying. |

That's a bit of a stretch for me but...just barely. |

I'll buy the German version, but I also hope the game won't take too long to be localized elsewhere.
And I absolutely agree, censorship is bah. |

I don't think that will be a problem since there's already a publisher(jowood, i think) for a worldwide release of Gothic 2. |

awsome,
gothic 1 must of done good, even though it took a little while for it to come out in english, they prolly made more money off the english version however.

Sorry folks, it's going to be released only at Uzbegistan and swahili language is that it uses. Publishing company is some "Allah shaved his beard ltd." and it's from kabul(afganistan). English version (heavily censored) about 6 years later, there are rumours that it's going to be rated for 3-9 yrs...
Requirements are:
386sx
256k ram
s3virge
at least 9" green&black monitor
keyboard
serial mouse
good eyes
hands
mom nearby(if things get too exited)
Bah, bah i'm bored
