whats marvin mode how do you get it and use it try to use detals please

Type 's' for the character screen. Type 'marvin' (you won't see the text), then type 's' again. Marvin mode and a console will appear in the top portion of your screen. Look in the Gothic FAQ for more info on commands.

What are some good cheats for marvin mode and also when i go type in a cheat that has spaces in it its says unknowen command what do i do

To do the underscore '_' type the 'shift' key then the '?' key, it's the difference between the German and the English keyboard that causes that problem. Check here for cheats.
