"Yea thats right! FOR GOMEZ, chump!" hehe
The minecrawler armor looks like someone poured tar on you and made you roll over tree-bark (UGLY!!!)
Someone said there is Xardas Robe, but I never saw an option to wear one myself from him (think that guy cheated) |

Just wondering...
I am getting guard armor before I become a fire mage... however, Stone is selling better armor.. since we can't get the heavy armor he's selling for 2100 ore (because you guys said so), can I get the first armor he's selling somehow by doing a quest for the guard, so I don't have to become a fire mage with the crap first armor I was given?

I beleive you can buy the first armor he sells immediately.
Don't Diss the Dress, Jazzy, makes peein' by the campfire MUCH easier than snappin' off that armor.

I was level 12 when I bought the regular guard armor, I think, but I don't remember having done anything special to get it. So maybe it's just a matter of experience.
And Darnalak... provided you don't wear anything beneath the dress, your thesis might be true. Still, those robes look terribly impractical... I mean, running through meadows and forests, jumping off cliffs etc... imagine how the thing must look! The hem smeared with scavenger droppings, holes in the fabric...
No, not really my idea of adventure clothing.

Yea, I'm level 11 right now, a few grand from 12... I guess I can go get that xp, come back, get the next armor thing, and then become a fire mage..
I take it Callisto will wait for me indefinitely?

Well, jazzy Look real close at the dresses and you'll see the small studs of ore sewn into them...
And you're right, if you HAD to run and jump around as a mage it'd be horribly impractical... BUT being a mage means never having to say you're sorry, you stand in one place, level every living thing in sight, then Star whistling your favorite tune, and walk on.

I like playing artillery (i.e., mages) in CRPGs as well. I just don't like the nightgowns...
I was really happy with Torment's Nameless One, he was a 42 lvl mage in the end (I know, I did the Deva-Exploit, but still, I figured it out all by myself) and still wore his bare skin. |

I think I'll register on this board later, if I do, my name will be "The Seer" or something like that, but anyway... When I was almost done with the game, I decided to have fun, so I found a merchant and started selling most of my stuff, and putting "Maybe Valuable" stuff in my house. (In the New Camp, next to the hill with Lee and the Water Mages, there will be two pretty big houses next to a fire, the one on the left is supposedly occupied by one of the Mercenaries, but he never enters it, and no one cares if you enter it.)
Anyway, I saw that I had an extra robe in my inventory, and it turned out to be a Necromancer robe from Xardas. I didn't do anything to earn it, but then I remembered that I entered the sixth circle of magic, and I'm pretty sure that's how I got the robe.
Also, I got every single skill in the game except for Bow and Arrow, I think I was level 35 or something by the end of the game. I didn't put too much into mana, strength, or dexterity, since I relied on amulets and rings to do that for me.

If you must cheat, enter marvin mode then 'insert crw_armor_h'. I think that's the one. |
