| Eye of power and stuff in the last chapter? |
|
Any idea if the Eye of power you find in a chest in one of the alcoves before the undead dragon is used for anything? Also what about the soul gem thing that the undead dragon has? Any ideas? Or are these just trinkets that set up for Gothic 3/add-ons?

You found the Eye of Power? I never found it.
If you read through the books and scrolls you have, you'll read something about the Eye of Power.
Something about it being the deciding factor of something.

That door sucks. You have to move around until you get the "Too far away" message.
You should find a scroll on the black magician. Open it, and you'll find some jibberish. BOOGA BOOGA BOOGA or something.
Then go to the door, and keep clicking USE until a cutscene shows you saying the jibberish in the scroll. |

there is also a scroll of destroy undead around there somewhere as well. Deals 1000 dmg for 40 mana to any undead, 1 shot and the dragon was dead  |

Erm, Im pretty sure that the Eye of Power where used to open the door... I tried several times to "use" the door, but he said something like "what with?"... Then I found the Eye and I used the door again, and it opened on the first try. I doubt it was luck. |

Then why was the Eye mentioned in the same note that you got the "code messange" in? Wouldn't that be kinda pointless? |

I happened to have saved right before I opened the door so I checked things out.
Without the eye, I ran in and out of the room, tried multiple angles, even ran as far as the ship but the door wouldn't open. Opened right up when I picked the eye back up.
The note said "The eye of power light your path"
Maybe when you walked out of the room you visited the chest? Or maybe you already had the eye and the script broke when you tried the first time? |
