| Starting Chapter 6 - problems taking out Named OC NPCs! |

I have Uriziel Charged and ready to go after speaking to Xardas again. I teleported back to the OC Mages of Fire, but when I got there I was UNABLE to damage ANY of the main NPCs like Gomez or Barthalo. I took out Raven, but Stone was untouchable. I understand there was a Chap 5 "Rescue Stone Mission" that I never got.
So, should I forget trashing the OC and go straight for the Endgame, or what?

I had to have the RUNE from the sword in my possession. Once I had it the OC NPCs acted (and died) appropriately. All I had was the sword. Now I have BOTH, but prefer the sword to magic. |

Well, you don't need to rescue Stone or do anything in the OC to finish the game.
That being said, if you want to take them out, it shouldn't be an issue. I laid waste to the camp with a warrior and Uriziel the first time, and the second time I was a mage and used lots of ice block/wave, storm of fire, and regular weapons to kill them all. |
