New Mage, How many Runes can you get? Should I save them? |
|
Alright, I just became a Fire Mage.
I know you can't increase your circle to 6 until chapter 5, here's my questions.
i) How many runes can you get?
ii) Should I save my runes for the higher level spells?, I've heard that doing this is a good idea seeing as how runes may be limited.
iii) What spells should I get? I was planning on getting the light spell because I like hunting 24/7 and never sleeping unless it advances game story.
iv) If runes are limited, what spells have you found most useful?
v) While I was hunting I found this will 'o the whisp thing, could someone explain what to do with it? |

I found a total of 7 runes, mostly from merchants. I recommend saving them all. You need only a basic healing spell, and greater fireball spell to kill dragons and all opponents easily. At chapter 5 you learn circle 6 and should get all level 6 spells. |

If I`m not wrong somewhere at the beginning of this forum there was topic on the matter of blank runestones. Somebody there stated 14 and pretty good explained why this number was enough. Playing paladin I found at least 3 ready runestones for mage (fear for example) and was able to aquire 10 - 11. They where rather unimportant to me but I bought all from merchants in hope that maybe in add-on I will keep my inventory and be able to learn some magic.
Will O`Whisp is a little thing present in many old legends. They were small fires mostly in the swamps illuding people to go there and drown. In the game just kill them for 60 Exp. Never noticed that they maybe used in other way or dangerous. |
