I was playing Gothic from the beginning yesterday, like always that perve Mud started following me, this time I thought that I'm not going to kill him, maybe he is useful for something after all, later, when I got to the part where I had to "remove" Mordrag, something really strange happened, after I had killed Mordrag, Mud started to speak in a different, a deeper voice saying, "The new camp has suffered a great loss, and you seem to be responsible for it" or something like that. So, does anyone know what's it all about?

You killed a person of the old camp and that makes the other old campers less happy.
When the camp's locked down and you kill some guard you'll hear the same thing from Diego if he sees you do it.(before he goes back to the normal chat options again)

Never did understand that..

Diego (or any other named guard of the OC.. perhaps any camp..) will lay the smack down on you, or at least talk shit to you if you do something bad..BUT..you run around for a few minutes, approach them, and it's all chit chat like normal..do these guys have NO short term memory or what???

I think it's a little scripted problem...
That part should prob. have been removed as soon as they lock down OC.
I mean I can understand the anger if you kill someone previous to that happening, after the lockdown Diego is cast out too,so...

Theyre not THAT intelligent. Remember the non-important npc's react once to things. After that they go back to the normal routine.

You can still join the new Camp after killing Mordrag. Just give the mine list to Lares before bringing it to Diego. You could kill anyone else not directly involved in that from the New Camp and still become a member.

Bloodthirsty savages!!!!!

1st time playing the game, be the nice guy, let everyone live and be happy...
2nd time around however, you know the scoop!
So you can walk around like Black Bart and extort money, scare people, knock em around, hell...kill em if you want! You know who's mission important and who's not now

Beat everybody you want. I'm playng for 1st time and beat everybody I can (especially at nigt). Before joining any camp I've beated and killed lots of people in New and Old camps and collected about 30 melee, 20 range weapons, lots of food and ore (now I have much more). Don't buy if you can steal. For example: Fisk has lots of ore, Dexter has food.

Now I'm a guard that killed Gomez'es bodyguard for very good weapons and I'm going to kill all people from New and Sect camps just for fun and exp. And they won't do to me anything HA HA HA...
