If you go in marvin mode and go to the abandoned mine the one near the start of the gate if u press k and go inside the mine u can go a little bit into the tunnel then there is a loading screen (like the ones u see when u go into the mines, sleeper temple etc..) and the screen is all black  |

I've seen and killed the robbers...who's supposed to give you the quest?
Cut out from EU version...but isn't EU english speaking and US the same version...? |

The German version is exactly the same concerning the abandoned mine and the bandit camp. |

Ok...now I'm confused...
The mine level was taken out of the German/european version but is left in the US/UK version...? (which would be what us Swedes most likely would've gotten anyway since we import mostly from the UK AFAIK)
In this version you're supposed to be able to get the quest...or not?
If no on both,then there's no difference at all as far as I can understand.(apart from the infamous bikini texture )
I never did run deep in the mine,so I don't know if the level's there or not...(I never considered checking it out... ) |

These quests didnīt make it into any release version. This is absolutely normal. When you start to design the game you have a thousand ideas, but itīs simply impossible to implement them all. So you start to cut a few hundred out, try this, try that, and so on. And sometimes there are some remainings of never completed quests.
We had a discussion about this before.
The only difference I know of that cannot be fixed is the missing concert in chapter two.

K,I know stuff may not be included due to assorted reasons mostly time running out.(like Suliks sister in Fallout 2)
What got me confused was that "they were left out of a specific version" comment,thx for the heads up. |

Is that what the stage (complete with drum?)next to the castle entrance is for in the Old Camp?

A band called "In Extremo" played on this stage in the German version. I heard this was cut out due to overseas licensing difficulties of some sort. You can still read the dialogue with Grim in the script in your Gothic directory, but you can never see the band in the American version. |

You can actually play the drum ( if u cheat and use the k to get on stage) the problem is it doesnt let you get out of it and it is an execution drum... perhaps they left out a beaheding  heheheh |
