It can be done!! Open your inventory and highlight your stack of torches. Then press <ctrl> <up-arrow>.

Or left-click+up. This is well known.

Can't you just take out your weapon and the torch will disappear. I didn't use torches much. Light spells are much better.

Well, it would just fall to the ground.. i found a nasty bug this way.. try to get a Torch to "roll" down the water (don't walk into the water with it). The torch would still be on fire, eventhough it's underwater

Well, the reason Torches roxx: Take a Speed-potion, light a Torch and start running! Man, that looks so hilarious!

I used torches to mark paths in caves, telling me which way to turn. For example in the fog tower I dropped a couple of torches in places where I would turn and fight after luring monsters. Torches a very useful. I also like the like the give off as opposed to the light spell, plus they last longer and cost no mana.

The bad thing about the Light spell is that if you cast the spell, save the game, and then reload it again, the light will be gone.

How can torches be better than light spells. It doesn't matter if they look better, last longer or cost no mana. The only important thing here is you can fightwhile having a light spell on but can't fight while holding a torch.
