I get all the way to the stone, killed all the harpys, and then lester gives me a telekineses scroll, but I can use it!

I am 5 mana short, how do I get it now?

Seems you need to invest in mana.
Another idea is a meatbug scroll.

(I will move this and some of your other threads to the tips&tricks forum soon.)

Telekenesis only costs 1 mana per "charge" and it only takes 2-3 mana to remove it from the platform (and you begin the game with 5).

Just move it off the platform and let it drop to the ground below, then go down the ladder and retrieve it where you entered the building.

Or sleep.
Or if you got acrobatics you could just jump there and take a lot of damage I think.

The meatbug thing worked.

Will this happen again, where I'll need more then 5 mana? Cause I dont want to use magic this time around, but I dont want to get stuck agin, and end up hating the game.

You never need more than 5 mana for a single spell that is required to complete the game.
