| Uh, I have two people following me, and they help me fight. |

I know this is not a npc-team type game. But I have the lady with the speed boots, and the near naked guy wanting to find the witch, both tagging along with me now. Lol, and they help me fight.
Question: If I take my time in finishing their two quests, and use them to kill some of the content I have trouble with, will I get all the exp for the kills? And, can they die in combat prior to my completing their tasks? Thanks! |

No, you will not get experience for the kills. You don't get experience for kills period in this game. There is no such thing as experience points in Morrowind. You must be thinking of Gothic.
You level up by using skills in Morrowind.

You can get those guy kill in a fight.
Tried that but having two people always following you is not that good.
You have to worry, that they may get lost and you have to back track all the way to find them. |

If you do this get the heal companion spell, or there damage acumulates and they die.

If you talk to them, you can tell them to wait and come back for them later, at least I have done that with the woman who wanted to go to one of those pilgrim shrines, came back for her a few days later and she was where I left her. |
