only one guy allows new members....but I can't find him. he's supposed to be in vivec, but that's as specific as the guy got. So, if someone could just tell me where he is, I would appreciate it. Sure beats running around vivec for two hours. |

Go to Arena -> Waistworks -> Canalworks -> Arena Storage.
In one of the storage rooms is a Level 50 locked trapdoor.
There be Morag Tong.

Killing him shouldn't lower your standing in the House, since it was ordered by the Emperor anyway. I killed him - still a Kinsman.

if you're wanna be a good Morag Tong, you have to kill people witout being detected. use a very high chameleon spell, sneak to the person and kill it with one critical hit.
the message in the log-book: no crime reported. _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild= |

Good advice HiddenX, I'll have to give that a try. I was always confused with what they meant by "killing honorably" - I just figured that meant I couldn't sneak up on them or something.
Just out of curiosity - anyone know how I get to the next assignment? Something about taking a boat to "Tel -??" and swimming to find the guy I'm supposed to kill. Where is the place I'm supposed to catch the boat?
I apologize for the lack of detail but I'm at work.
Thnx! |

Sneak up on a person, then knife them. (For whatever reason, warhammers will also work, and with 4X damage, they won't be getting up very soon) _________________ Make good choices. |

I'm a mage using a 2 handed Ebony staff.
I get crits constantly!
Maybe its because of the 130+ chameleon on my equipment
You can get crits with any weapon. The only things that matter are that the NPC has not detected you. It may also have something to do with standing behind them as well but I get crits even when I'm face to face with things...
I think it only matters that they don't know your there.
By the way, I've also gotten crits with daggers, katanas, clubs, staves, swords, spears, and axes. So I know for sure that any weapon will work. |

I don't believe so. I have no way to check since I used the secret trainer to take sneak from 7-100
Mages have a hard time raising that skill...
I'm pretty sure that it just does the extra damage. However! In order to get a crit you will most likely need to use sneak so that you are undetected... so in a round about way your sneak will increase.
There, clear as mud right? |
