Hey all, level 7 just ran into my first troll.What a great monster.It was fantastic,I just loved it.Of course I ran, it was huge and I knew I could'nt kill it right?so I lured it into merc. camp and they killed it.Only playing a short time but it is one of the best games I have played so far.

The only bad thing about letting others kill it for you is that you dont get any exp for it. You should be able to run away from it so it just gets tired and returns to its spot.
But I agree with you, Gothic 2 is a great game!

I'm level 12 and i want to know how strong you have to be to be able to take on a troll or the giant troll close too that hunter. I'm a mercenarie

Have you got any scrolls so cast them.
I killed my trolls my before lvl 20 i think. I played as a pally but merc should be the same thing.
Good luck. But learn how to take the skin first if you havent learnt that yet.
Troll hides pay good money.

Trolls are the easiest monsters to kill in the whole game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A lvl 1 character can kill a normal troll !!!
U just run around it and then hit him once then run again and hit(repeat till dead) !!!!!!!
A lvl 1 character can kill a troll with no armor a dagger and lots of time !!
U just have to be patient !! |

Dude that was brilliant.I never would have thought of it.The troll looked so big and impossible to kill so I ran.THANKS
