The difference between German and English keyboards stink. It's SHIFT + ? _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Guys, how about reading the console section of the cheat guide???
quote:
Gothic uses German keyboard layout: y and z are exchanged, the underscore '_' is on the '?' key.

Bigkabuto after using the o-key once try the Home-key. It should cycle through all npcs / monsters within 50 m of your character.
I actually came here today to mention that I found a new instruction for activating the In Extremo concert. I followed the cheat guide and the concert looked good. The guys were playing thier insterments, Charlotte was dancing and Steve was blowing flames. The problem was there was no music. I found the console command zTrigger InExtremo_Musik starts the music. It works even in other chapters! Now I feel like I'm getting the full concert experience. |

I found the cheat i seemed to be using was the "b"-button "couthpark" "b"-button so in southpark mode you can run faster through the map without having to jump your way forward looking like a rubber-ball..
also when bored and felt for a hackfest i tried godmode and discovered that if you press and hold the + at night it lights up the world so you can see everything in the dark.. most useful for navigation _________________

The "_" sign is on the non-Deutch keyboard "shift + ?" without the "" and the + signs. _________________ Gothic and Star Trek, the greatest titles.
Pity of the theme of Star Trek: Enterprise.
Currently I'm modding Star Trek: Bridge Commander, I'm trying to start modding Gothic. |

In rare instances NPCs crash, i.e. don't do what they're supposed to do. You might straighten them out with F8 then.
Or sometimes you take over = possess an NPC who is, for instance, just stuck in one of his daily routines (for example, making a sword). After you have taken him over, you can't stop doing what the guy did the moment you took him over. Then you'd press F8 to reset his script, he'd stop doing what he was doing and you could do with him what you wanted.
As for the NPC cycling... sorry, I don't have the slightest idea how to do it.
I never did have to do this. I did have a few NPC's stuck in motion but I found that saving the game (with them stuck) and then restoring it reset whatever was going on.
I thought getting the fellow who was making the sword to talk to me was part of the quest. It just now dawned on me that it was a game bug. I forget how I finally got to talk to him. Maybe I did restore and try again. _________________ SilkenKidden |

OK, been playing. Decided to look up cheats, found some. Tried it, but nothing happened. Nothing happened when I typed "marvin" and nothing happened when I pushed F2. The place I got the cheats from said I needed 1.07 patch to work and I have 1.08. If having the 1.08 patch is what keeps me from cheating, how can I acquire a 1.07 patch?

You type Marvin in the Stats screen. Then when you leave it you are in cheat mode. Then F2. _________________ SilkenKidden |
