Hammer & Sickle Demo @ FileCloud

A new playable demo has popped up at <a href="http://www.filecloud.com/files/file.php?file_id=2469" target="_blank">Filecloud</a>. Head over and download the 265Mb demo!

It's funny ... I had this on my 'wishlist', and was very much looking forward to it ... then I played some of the demo and it seemed like total crap. Then I found that GameSpy had already reviewed it ... and thought it was total crap. ... off the wishlist ...

I've been following it for a while too.
The initial impressions from the demo weren't particularly good - bad voice acting and dialogue... but the more i've played the more i've liked it. There are a number of different ways to complete tasks which have an impact on other things. For example: i killed a guard in the town, left and then returned to find it swarming with US troops.

The nonlinearity promised by the full game is going to really make the game for me and it's not something that can be properly represented in a demo.

And combat is obviously excellent seeing as it's basically Silent Storm!
