Where can I find teacher who can teach me more than 60% one-hand melee mastery? Thanks. |

What about the trainer in the barracks ? Can't he train you past 60?

Nope, he can only till 50, to 60 can one in Old caste in Valley of mines... |

At Onars farm (mercenary base), behind the main house is Cord (some name like that). He'll teach you no matter what group you're in (I believe). Also in the upper town in Koriath outside the town hall, you'll find a trainer that teaches atleast Paladins.

Damn, than I am in a same boat with you.
My knowledge of 1h is 50% now. I am still in chapter 1 militia. So, as I understand I can't train sword mastery and I can't train strength anymore, at least until I reach valley of mines.

As I remember Cord teaches mercs only!
That pala in upper town teaches palas only!

Are you sure? Someone wrote here in one other thread that Cord didn't mind if you weren't a merc... I have not played the game yet other than mercs (now at the last chap), so I have no experience of my own. Damn the people who write here those untruths (that's me included for spreading the lies what I thought were truths).

Cord trains ONLY mercenaries. As he says: "I train only mercenaries or worthy candidates!", so if you're not one of those, forget about it.
If you're a militiaman, then you'll remain at 60% for a bit, until you can get the paladin status. Then one of the paladins sparring at the castle, where Lord Hagen is, can train you, but he trains only up to 90%. I got another 5% from the book one vendor sells there, he has 2 specific books, one will raise one-handed skill by 5%, another will raise two-handed skill by 5%. Lord Hagen himself trained my two-handed skill up to 100%, but I never found anyone, who could train my one-handed skill as high as well.
I am playing this time with the mercenary char, and have not yet reached high enough level to verify Cord's max out. There's a chance that he will also train only up to 90%, but I don't know that yet.
No idea about the magician's way, if they train the weapon skills too. Once I am done with the mercenary, I will play a mage and then will see. |

Later on in ch.4/5 you'll find a Dragon Hunter in valley of mines who can train 1h up to 100
Forget his name but hes the one who wants a drink (tip always keep some wine/gin/beer on you and dont give him the Coragon's special) |

in the Mine Colony in Old Camp there is a Paladin who will teach u over 60% and also some Dragon Slayers will train u if u give them something  |

Which exactly means, that he will train you if you are either a mercenary or if you have not yet joined a guild, but did already learn one- or two-handed fighting to 30% (which is the meaning for the worthy canidate). |
