Ivé been away for awhile from this forum(no internet)
And I was troubled to see that people still complain about there super computer having to make due with 7fps.
I have a sub 1ghz computer with a gf2 gts card and I have very smooth gameplay. 30-90 fps indoor/outdoor/cities etc.
well I have One thing to give as a tip
I ran my computer on 98 and XP both of em installed.
XP was useless to me no games worked and/or hade looow fps
But when I booted up with 98 it worked fine, smooth gamplay.
Now I havwe only XP installed. Games run fine, but with some slowdowns(acouple of frames gone misssing ;( )
But I dont care its just 4fps or so. But when I started up Spiderman the movie game. (spidey fan since I was 11 so shut it )
And I was pissed, its performance was so slow so awfull and I cant get it to work. I now I ran it on 98 just fine. But now its unplayable. But all the other games run fine.
So my conclusion is. if a game suck on an computer above 900mhz gf2 gts 256mb ram. Its an error somewhere, not neceserarly in the game, but in the directX or OS. try to install an other OS or have both 98SE and XP(If u have them) cause now I start 98 only when I want to run spiderman.
Know it sounds stupid and I know there is an answer to this shit somewhere.
but until I know what. I do it like this.
/theres nothing wrong with the people that have the problem. Its just some system **** up.

Hmmm. You are probably right. But all of my games run great on xp pro except morrowind. But i did find that forcing aliasing causes alot of the problems with this game. If i set it to application preference half of the performance bugs are gone. It doesnt look as pretty as forcing but it is aliasing. Just my experience with this problem. Incase you were wondering....1.4ghz athlon xp...512ddr...Geforce4ti4600.. I am also thinking this game is a ram hog so i might try 1 gig and see wsup.
