Neocron 2: Beyond Dome of York - Review @ CVG

This one is definitely on the list of "endangered species" (a review being an extremely rare occurrence that is and not the game, hmmm... or maybe both after this review... you decide ) and it might be that the painfully low score of 24% explains why no one else really likes to touch too deeply on 'Neocron 2: Beyond Dome of York'. Well, make up your own mind and check out the review at Computer and Video Games, the online division of PC Zone UK.
People will play anything - it's official. No matter how bad the game, how appalling the implementation, how atrocious the development, how buggy the code, how superior the alternatives - some people will happily sit down and submit themselves to any old shit, come back for more and pay t'mill owner f'privilege. Masochists, the lot of them.

Wow.. I don't think I've seen a game get a worse review.

Now not to defend 'Neocron', since I played only a few hours of the original when it first came out, it would have been decent if the reviewer took 2 seconds off from being an insulting jackass to actually go over how the game plays, since I have a hard time believing that after a couple weeks of play, he couldn't do anything in game.

But at the very least, I can now delete the Neocron 2 demo I downloaded but haven't played yet, as I suspected it wasn't worth the time.
