Buying Gothic

I live in Australia. I have used a pirated version of Gothic for a little while but of course I would like to buy the proper version.

I have tried without success here in Brisbane Australia to purchase a copy of but have been wholly unsucessful.

Amazon will only supply this game to US or UK residents, so I am at a loss. I have even tried to request a special order from local gaming companies but I have been told it is no longer available. Most companies dont even know the game I am referring to.

I have also been scouring the local papers for second hand copies of the game but I havent even seen any.

Any suggestions would be useful.

Thanks

Dave

I'm just going to ignore the pirate part for the moment.

www.gamesmarket.com.au lists Gothic @ AUS49.95, 3-5 days availability. I'm not sure how accurate that is , so you might want to call them. I've used them before and they weren't too bad.

www.dvdboxoffice.com has free worldwide shipping inc Australia. If you use the free freight, they use post which does take several weeks; I prefer to pay for the faster courier service but it's a matter of choice.

Finally, www.ebgames.com will ship to Australia but the courier cost is pretty high compared to dvdboxoffice (who are in Canada and the dollar conversion is a little better than for the US as well).

Thank you, very much appreciated.

The Aussie one is backorder only, so I hope they can supply because that
will be half the cost to me.

Tks

Dave
