mage 3rd circle

What are the best spells to make runes for in 3rd circle.

I got 3 blank runes, should I only use one and save the rest for later levels?

What is the best spell to kill elite orcs? fire arrow dosent seem to harm them

Summon Skeleton is quite useful for some of the harder monsters.

I liked large fireball myself. Takes an orc elite down to almost nothing. Finish him off with a couple more fireballs or your sword.

First a fully charged fireball and the Lightning. Lightning is a real Orc Warrior killer too. You can fire it very fast and so you can kill a lot of Orcs before they are near you.
