I know this is not a *computer* RPG but I just finished playing this game on my PS2 and really enjoyed it. It's not perfect, it plays a bit slow, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. I recomend this game if you have the PS2.

meh, I played the original for a bit ... wasnt too engaging. Atleast to me. Rpgs are made for computer imho.
Same with Fps, and strategy.

Hmm

When you say 'original' do you mean King's Field 1 (American Version) on the PS1?

I still stand by my comment. I'm a computer gamer first and videogamer second... but I still enjoy a good RPG on a videogame system and I think King's Field has enough RPG elements to it to call it an RPG.

Anyway, if you have a PS2, I still recomend this game.
