Help! I checked out the maps and the walkthru here and at another site and am still stuck early on - I can't get into the human city - I seem to be blocked at all points by trolls who say I can't get thru or blocked passages. Obivously I'm missing something big time. Any help greatly appreciated.

Don't feel bad, I wandered around for a while too. Find the Crystal Caves and check them out completely. (Don't tackle the green spider just yet, He is hard to kill and better left for later in the game.) You will find a bunch of barrels along a wall in the middle of the caves. If standing in front of them, go left and to the right and find a sort of hidden set of stairs. There you are. Home at last. Good Luck.

It seems you dint find the entrance to the crystal caves yet. When youre facing the troll village, dont enter, but walk left - just follow the river. There youll find a stair going down a few steps. Down there is the stair up to the crystal caves on your right.

PS I used the walkthrough a lot in this game. It spoiled some (though not to much) of the fun. And that was still better than remaining stuck in front of an ignorant troll for the rest of your life...  |

Ah- that's exactly the info I was looking for, guys...thanks. Actually I found the caves and the barrels earlier but I certaintly didn't find hidden stairs. I will look again. This wasn't even in the maps was it? I also didn't see a green spider anywhere. BUt then again, I'm not the greatest looker in world either. I'm assuming the crystals caves are the ones with all the light gray walls and occasionally some crystals in them.
